Happy Friday, folks! I am so excited that my bags are packed for Nashville today! I am going for a girls’ weekend with my hometown besties to shower the first one of us to be a mom. I have really missed getting to see Paige all the time now that I don’t live in Nashville, and and I need this grown up slumber party weekend to catch up with everyone!

New Camera Bag!
Oh man, I think this is going to be a major game-changer. I’ve been the biggest fan of Lo and Sons for about three years now. Their bags are beautiful, comfortable to carry, lightweight, and full of organizational pockets and genius features. (No, they didn’t pay me to write this.)
So I was having issues with being able to actually use my DSLR in real life. I didn’t want to carry the poor baby naked and look like the major nerd I am, but throwing it in a Longchamp with everything else I own wasn’t really working for me either. I knew I needed a real camera bag, but ugh, who wants to carry a camera bag? I’m not that official. Guys, the Claremont fits my DSLR (with padded, structured protection) plus my normal purse-things, and it looks like a normal purse. All the praise hands.

Le Grenier
We went to this sweet French restaurant, Le Grenier, with friends on Saturday and had the best time. It was actually my second time there, as I had had brunch with my friend Debbie there not long before. But dinner was really cozy. The servers are French, the decor is shabby chic, the food is delicious, the prices are low, and we quite enjoyed listening to some French indie music while eating our creme brulee.

Shopbop Sale Snags
If you’ve been anywhere near the internet this week, you’re probably aware that Shopbop had their annual friends and family sale. Woo! We are going to the beach with Will’s family in May and then have a big trip in the works for June (more details soon!) so I used it as an excuse to get this amazing bathing suit. Do you love? I love.
I also really need to replace some of my jeans (Will calls one pair my “pajamajeans” and he has a point), so I grabbed these Paige Denim ladies for $40!! I am a huge fan of the other Paige jeans I have, so I am hoping a blind buy will work this time. The only thing with a question mark is that they’re boot cut. I don’t wear jeans too often, and when I do, they are all basic stretchy skinnies, so this is a smidge outside my comfort zone. But I researched it, and Vogue said it was totally fine.

Speaking of Nashville…
It’s the little things in life, people. I was so excited to see my friend KC’s beautiful sister Meg on Nashville this week! It’s always fun to see someone you know on TV, especially if you didn’t know they were going to be on the show. Nashville and I have a very natural relationship, as the pilot came out when I worked for a talent agency and right before I moved there. Obviously I had to watch, but it’s also actually a really good show. I love it even more now that I’m away from Nash! It’s like I get to visit when I watch it.
