Georgetown’s Lilly is all seashells and blue and white ginger jars.
I know what you’re thinking. Just as the temperatures are dropping and we’re all getting excited about booties, scarves, and all things pumpkin, why are you posting picks of Lilly? And true, Lilly probably isn’t your first association with fall. But I didn’t want to leave you hanging, so I have to follow up on what I was talking about on Friday with a quick post to celebrate what I think is one of the most beautiful Lilly lines ever. I honestly haven’t been this excited about Lilly in a long time. So here’s a quick post to show you what I mean.
First of all, basic stripes aren’t just for t-shirt dresses at Lilly anymore. These ladylike striped day dresses are great for work and can totally go into fall.
Secondly, here’s something a little different for Lilly. I love that these two prints are more geometric and that Ocean Jewels pulls in a painterly watercolor look. I know the two piece sets are controversial, and not fall at all, but guys, I love them. If you’re going on vacation this winter, how cute would that two piece Tile Wave outfit be?
But back to things you can actually wear in the fall, how cute are these prints? I am obsessed with the flamingos and elephants. The elephant dress on the right is not a t-shirt dress, but a heavier piece that can totally go with tights in my opinion.
Toucan Can has to be one of my favorite prints of all time, and Going Coastal’s navy background makes her totally cool-weather appropriate.
And last, but not least, alleluia Callista is back! This high-collared beauty is also one of my all-time favorite classic Lilly looks, and the navy and white version sold out so quickly this summer. She’s back and as beautiful as ever!
Do you wear Lilly in the fall? What are your favorites?
