I really thought this new J.Crew Edie top I got from Nordstrom (what a time to be alive) was going to be short-lived this fall, but then this week happened. It was 85 degrees yesterday (EIGHTY-FIVE), and my office building decided it wasn’t really worth it to pop the AC back on, so I was schvitzing in my sweater dress all day long. It turns out my space heater doesn’t double as a fan. But hey, this darling blouse got a new lease on life, and it was absolutely weather-appropriate.

We were up in small-town New York for a beautiful wedding this past weekend (photos coming on Friday!), and Will made his first stab at fashion photographer. Didn’t he do a fabulous job? Poor guy might have just signed himself up for a lot more of this. At least the taking lots of photos and then pretending to throw the camera joke hasn’t gotten old for him yet.
This pretty little mural was right across the street from our hotel!
Another fringe benefit of the warm weather? My wedding pedi won’t go to waste this week.
If there’s anything I love mixing more than different shades of blue, it’s stripes and florals. This outfit was pretty obvious from the moment I laid eyes on the Edie top, but unfortunately those Reese pants sold out quickly! Pair with any floral pant, though, and I am sure it will be darling.
This is my go-to everyday necklace. It’s so delicate and simple that you just cannot go wrong with it.
I love the striped piping on these ladies.
